Intervest National Bank is located in New York, while this bank can offer you the absolute best APY rate currently on a standard Savings account, their web site makes me leery. Considering the times, any bank not willing to establish trust with their clients is doomed to failure. One of the best ways to establish this trust is by creating an online presence that captivates its audience and shows they care. This coupled with the minimum deposit of $2,500.00 and I am not sure I would buy in. But alas, they do have the best advertised rate.

GMAC is one of those banks that over performs by providing great products and services to its customers. What makes GMAC bank so convenient is that they go beyond the scope of providing basic checking and savings accounts, they also offer MMA accounts and a variety of services. With a few keystrokes you can transfer funds from your online savings account to your MMA account.

“My Personal Favorite” – iGoBanking.com
iGoBanking.com is just a cool bank in my opinion. I know you can get a better APY rate with one of the above banks, but why iGoBanking.com is so appealing is the fact they established themselves as a virtual banking center from their conception. They have great customer service and a young hip appeal to how they do things. For instance, you won’t have to wait for those pesky 2 small deposits to verify your identity; iGoBanking.com can do it on the fly by verifying the login credentials of your existing bank account.
